Default Avalanche question

hey fellers ...

I am in the process of replacing the stock y-pipe/cats on the 02 Avalanche. Thanks to JKopp I got them here in no time. You da man JK

My question is has anyone done this ..or has any insight before I head down my own path??? I dont see how there is enough clearance to just slide it out and the short tube and flange where it connects to the intermediate pipe cant clear the transmission cross member. My initial thought is to just support the tranny... swing the cross member out of the way and be done with it. Just looking for alternatives .. maybe I have overlooked something. Working in 100 heat aint no fun so the sooner I get it done the better..
