1990 SCCA American Sedan Camaro - $10,000
I bought this car this past spring to see if I liked American Sedan and I love it. So I'm buying another Third Gen Camaro that's quite a bit more car (and more money). This is a great entry level reliable car. It's a got a few racing bumps and scrapes, but still looks good.
Weighs 3150 lbs with me in it at the end of a race.
It has the following:
Well fabricated, safe full roll cage
Chevy 305, iron heads with aluminum rocker arms, solid lifter camshaft
9 quart oil pan
Performer RPM intake
Tubular headers, dual exhaust
Aluminum radiator with electric fans
28 gallon Fuel Safe fuel cell
Autometer guages with Play Back Tachometer
Eaton Tru Trac differential with 3.90 gears
Fresh World Class T5 Trans with new gears, bearings, and clutch - Zero time on them.
Howe Racing hydraulic throw out bearing
Spare non World Class T5
12 good practice BFG tires
8 additional wheels
plexi-glass rear hatch glass for weight savings
Hoosier R7's from this year with 3 weekends on them
Koni Adjustable struts, weight jacks all the way around, adjustable strut tower mounts
QA1 strut tower brace
1LE Brakes with front cooling ducts
Current SCCA Log Book
Things done this year:
new power steering pump
Belts and Hoses
Master Cylinder, front calipers, rotors, bearings and seals. I also have 2 additional new in the box front calipers and 3 new front rotors and new in the box $250 Hawk pads that go with it.
Re-set up the rear axle, installed thicker C Clips to reduce the axle end play. Tru Trac is in good shape.
