I believe that is why the restrictor was increased recently to 56 mm (for 2021) from 54 mm.

Yes it was. It made 5 hp on Lynn Griffiths car. Which tells me when I have to reduce the thickness of my restrictor to .250 the 2mm increase will net me nothing. The Coyote will be making virtually the same power as previously.

How much horsepower do you feel that you need to be competitive?

I'd be happier just making the 370 the Cadi makes at the same weight. It would still have more Tq but I have slightly better trans ratios.
Of course, that all goes out the door if the close ratio box at 75lbs gets voted in for the FP cars. I've already lost the brake advantage given their 13 inch allowance. They get racing 4 pots with 2 piece rotors I get oem 4 pots with thin but heavy oem rotors. |

Our data from summit showed 1.1 Gs of braking with the 12 inch and 1.1 Gs of braking with the 13 inch. There is no advantage to the bigger brakes. Yes we did the swap saturday night. We are still limited to the tire size we run on. I can lock the front wheels just as much with the 12 inch as the 13 lol
