The March 2016 Prelims should be up soon. Please read the Minutes and Tech Bulletin for some VERY important AS letters. There are TWO WDYT letters that the ASAC strongly encourages you respond to.
Also there is a Tech Bulletin (letter 18887) with Rules clarifications. One of the WDYT (18888) asks you if you will be driving any of a listed set of currently classified RP Mustangs and asks if you don't plan to, would you agree or disagree with de-classifying that list. Your feedback on this letter is important to the ASAC for planning purposes. The other WDYT (18971) talks about the Spec Mustangs (SMG) cars (rules in Appendix M of the GCR). That group of cars has requested a class change away from T2, as they feel they are not competitive. The CRB is looking at 2 different classes where the SMGs could possibly go. One is AS, the other is STU. I know this topic came up in 2014 and many of you responded with either support for letting them in AS or not supporting it. The ASAC needs your feedback AGAIN on this topic. Please note that if SMG is added as an AS car, they will be following their rules in Appendix M for preparation. The corresponding STU WDYT for SMG is found in letter 18901. Regardless of which way you feel on both these WDYT letters, PLEASE send in a letter as soon as you can with your opinion. Your response will be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks, Pam |

Is there going to be a place to vote like there was in the crate engine question. Just wondering.

Ken --
Yes, please go to: crbscca.com and submit a letter to the Club Racing Board, using AS as your category, follow through the prompts and your letter will end up on the ASAC agenda for review, then will make it to the CRB once through the ASAC. Thanks! Pam |
