GOOD LUCK TO ALL! My bet anyone with any experience at Topeka will be up front today. Look for Andy, Wheel, Heinricy, Kyle and Jason. Kristian may well be the surprise of the day being a rookie at HPT, look for him to get better through the week. Looks like it is going to be dry today.

Just have Ted come over with the blender and make sure it's plugged in.

Looks like we owe Dwaine a thank you.

I predict Kristian will be a player before the week is done. But those that have raced him already knew that.

Again, good luck to all.

You started the new thread.

Then you made it rain!

And it's heavy rain folks.

Just kidding D.

Looks like only 13 cars took the track in the rain. Might be interesting if the forecast for rain on Sunday holds up...

Times looked like this:
Himes 59.0 (always good in the rain)
Heinricy 59.9
Gray 2:00.3
Davie 03.7
Smith 03.8

Key drivers (in alpha order) not logging a time:
Brannon
Ellis
Johnson
McDermid
Watkins
Wheeler

From phone call reports...

Many intentionally chose not to run in the rain. Bill Shep. and Tim White did not fare well in said rain, thanks to the concrete canyon being so close to the track. Bill's car requires serious attention (sorry to hear Bill). I won't speculate, but there was substantial front end damage.

The rain is stopping, so we might actually get a "live" report from someone there.

Wheel is still, ummmmm, still recovering.

Heinricy is driving the blue 'Bird.
