That Porsche 917k did 230mph on the straight at LeMans.......in the rain. Anyone still think they're sporting a set of brass compared to that?

Why did they edit the 2 finger salute....I always thought that was way cool. For those that don't know what the heck I'm talking about, in the movie LeMans Steve McQueen (Michael Delaney) showed the winner his index and middle finger. The story goes that in the wars of old when an archer was captured, rather than inprison him they would simply cut off the two fingers he used to pull back his bow string. When Steve lost the race he showed the victor that he still had his two "bow-pulling" fingers and he would be back.....

A ton of talented drivers were used to make the movie including: Vic Elford, Derek Bell, Richard Atwood, Brian Redman, Masten Gregory, Jackie Ickx and Jo Stiffert.

Very cool!
