I have a set I took off after 6 sessions last year, from the year before...so plenty of tread, stored in black garbage bags.I planned to mount them up for track days since they're no good for racing, however, since then our Muscle Car class has decided to go to Falken 615+ as spec tires for 2021 season (no one is running this year although there are 4 cars being built for 2021 to join 6 existing cars).they're yours for free..just pay for the UPS shipping from Carmel. I can send these as a lot of 4 (individual labels on each) with a 100# total weight (or less). They'll be good for at least two more weekends racing against yourself...I've used the R7 before for track days and put 3-4 hours on a set that had 6 race session on them. Hi, Kevin...what, the CRB didn't tell you either? haha..I've been racing SCCA since 1969 and nothing..nothing...has changed. I've been enjoying your in car camera AS Portland races...I'm prepping to visit the Portland track for the first time this year and you're my video instructor. In all the decades I've been racing I've never ventured north but decided before I quit in a year or two to experience Portland. I look forward to meeting you in person. Who knows..maybe a half dozen SMG/AS will join us. Actually, I doubt if more than one or two of the local group (and this is the only area SMG runs) is even thinking about Virginia Runoffs. Locally it'll be interesting to see if any of the SMG guys run AS as both classes run the same group 5 regionally. Maybe the two or three back markers who are 5 seconds off the front SMG guys. T

Hi, Kevin...here's part two:

The only threat I see to AS is from the very front of the grid..in this region there are around a dozen cars built but only half a dozen at a time seem to show up simultaneously...and generally 3-4 are faster than AS. I'll be turning 1:44s this year in my RP Camaro at Laguna...yeah, yeah, 5 seconds slower than Runoffs top times...but I'm 71..and so at 20 years your senior I'll expect you to pull over and let me pass you at Portland...welll, at least once. haha...see you for the Hoosier National...Richard...and I've already ordered the class letter SMG to run next to my AS letters...maybe I should enter SMG instead of AS at the first race?
